Added Functionality

• Improved the process of deleting a held job.

Fixed Issues

• Made several updates to address issues with the app unexpectedly shutting down or freezing up.
• An issue causing an end-user to be required to double-click a print job on the release screen to select it has been resolved to the original functionality of clicking on it once to select it.
• An issue when trying to release pull print jobs from an Android device, causing the job to appear to be processed but then show back up in the Release Portal without printing, has been resolved. - PI-47181

Added Functionality

• Printing is now available for printers that do not support the PDF format. When a print job is sent, if the printer supports PDF, the job is sent. If PDF is not supported, the print job is converted to PWG Raster and then sent to the printer.

• An issue causing a user to be unable to release a held print job when using Off-Network Printing has been resolved. - PI-46281
• An issue where Google users were being signed out and had to log in every few hours has been resolved. - PI-46091

New Features

• A Logging feature is now available in the app. Enabling it will assist you with troubleshooting efforts and only log the apps functions. Additionally there is an option to open the log to share it for printing or viewing. If logging remains on for four hours a modal will be displayed informing the user that logging is still enabled.
• Enhancements to the printing and release features have been made to increase the speed of these functions.

Fixed Issues

• For VA customers, an issue causing the inability for users to log into the app due to certificates working improperly has been resolved.
• An issue causing the inability to print to some Kyocera TASKalfa printers has been resolved. - PI-42391

• Off-Network Printing is now supported with the mobile app.

• Mobile Print Quota Management is now supported with the app.

  Print Quota Management is part of the optional Cost Management Bundle. Contact your sales rep for licensing information or to schedule a demo.

  • Print Quota Management gives administrators control over how much printing can be done by a group or an individual and can be adjusted as needed at either level. In addition, these printing controls can be tracked by either volume or price. This feature helps manage and reduce print volume, increases user accountability, and lowers costs and environmental impact. Quota Management is part of our optional Cost Management Bundle. • Resolved an issue that was causing printers and folders to continue to display after access was removed from the user.
• Resolved an issue causing an infinite "Please Wait" notification when selecting jobs in the release queue.
• Implemented a fix to ensure printers and folders are filtered correctly on the "Add Printer" screen.

• Fixed the issue that resulted in the display of the same name in the sign in options for a multi-tenant environment in Azure.

• The use of a QR Code scanner to select a printer and then release a print job(s). Information on creating the QR codes can be found in the Printing QR Codes document. Using the Bar Code Scan function can be found in the end-user Mobile Printing document.

Added Functionality

• Added functionality to send print jobs using the Internet Printing Protocol Secure (IPPS). This feature is currently in beta testing. Please contact a PrinterLogic Representative if you are interested in participating in the testing phase.

• Enhanced printing performance by storing the Printer URI and document format, resulting in improved printing speeds for subsequent print jobs after the initial successful print job.

• Introduced the capability to send copies of print jobs, if supported by the printer.

• Resolved an issue where printing to a printer identified by hostname was not functioning properly. - (PI-47892)

Added Functionality

• For Google ID users, a token refresh end-point was added to prevent users from unexpectedly being logged out.

• An issue when using an iOS device to print from Google apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) that, after going through the print process, causes the Print option on the last page not to be visible is resolved. - PI-46985

• An issue causing mobile print jobs to not work on some Ricoh printers has been resolved.

Added Functionality

• Support was added for printing images and text within the Notes app.

• Printing is now available for printers that do not support the PDF format. When a print job is sent, if the printer supports PDF, the job is sent. If PDF is not supported, the print job is converted to PWG Raster and then sent to the printer.

Fixed Issues

• An issue when releasing IPP print jobs with the iOS app, causing the release to fail or print out several pages of trash, has been resolved. - PI-44427

• An issue has been resolved when using the mobile app with a QR code release presenting a time stamp of GMT instead of local time. - PI-45273

• An issue when using the mobile app with Azure and Portal Security set, causing an error of "No folder or printers found for this folder" to be displayed, has been resolved. - PI-44809

New Features

• Additional paper sizes have been added for use with pull printers. These options are:
  • Letter
  • Legal
  • Tabloid
  • A4
• Paper sizes will now be remembered per printer ID. Example: Printer A is printed to using legal paper size. Next time printer A is printed to, Legal paper size will be set as default.

• An issue when using Google IdP in conjunction with iOS mobile app, of held print jobs not showing on release mechanisms has been resolved. - PI-40498

• The UI and some wording has been updated for a better user experience on the print release screen and printers screen.
• A Logging feature is now available in the app. Enabling it will assist you with troubleshooting efforts and only log the apps functions. Additionally there is an option to open the log to share it for printing or viewing. If logging remains on for four hours a modal will be displayed informing the user that logging is still enabled.
• Two additional print options have been added for the iOS app. They are:
  • Paper size selection
  • Landscape or portrait option
